About Matt

Matthew “Matty” Webber, Managing Director of Indigenous Security Consulting Australia (ISCA), founded the organisation in 2020 with a defined vision: to create significant pathways for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in Australia’s security and consulting sectors. Originating from the remote community of Eidsvold and belonging to both the Wakka Wakka and Wulli Wulli nations, Matty’s commitment to uplifting the social and economic status of Indigenous communities is both deeply personal and steadfast.

Under Matty’s stewardship, ISCA distinguishes itself from traditional security firms. The organisation has designed an array of robust services, training programs, and career development pathways. These initiatives are crafted to be both culturally sensitive and professionally rigorous, unlocking dormant potential within Indigenous individuals and directing them towards sustainable and rewarding careers.
Matty is attuned to the critical need for enduring, tangible socio-economic benefits that reach even the most isolated Indigenous communities. To meet this need, ISCA is deeply invested in delivering educational and training platforms that are both accessible and effective. ISCA’s emblem, which blends the spear, shield, and the Southern Cross, encapsulates the organisation’s dual mission: to honour Indigenous traditions while fostering an environment inclusive of all Australians. In his leadership role at ISCA, Matty employs a management style that harmoniously combines strategic foresight with operational expertise. He is unwavering in his dedication to influencing policy, bolstering Indigenous economic empowerment, and initiating projects that catalyse skill development, business expansion, and collaborative partnerships. Ultimately, ISCA’s overarching aim aligns closely with Matty’s personal vision: to contribute substantially to the broad landscape of Indigenous advancement across Australia, while continually fostering socio-economic opportunities for all Indigenous communities.
